Summer Youth Employment Program Application (SYEP) 2024

Summer Youth Employment Program 2024 is open to:
β Youth between the ages of 16-24, as of July 1st, 2024
β Resident of one of the five boroughs of New York City
β Legally allowed to work in New York City
The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is the nation’s largest youth employment program, connecting NYC youth with career exploration opportunities and paid work experience each summer.
What is SYEP?
SYEP is 25 hours a week for six weeks at a pay rate of $16 per hour from:
Cohort A: July 1st to August 12th
Cohort B: July 10th to August 19th

- The Youth Food Advocates (YFA) application for 2022-23 is now open, through June 15!: https://bit.ly/JoinYFA22 (also see image below and attached flyer) We highly encourage rising 9th and 10th graders to apply, and those who live or attend school in the Bronx and Staten Island.

- Summer 2021 P-EBT payments to families in NYC have started rolling out (this may take some time, so not to panic if someone hasn't received theirs yet). $375 for every child enrolled as of June 2021. To request a new card, we suggest using the online form: http://bit.ly/PEBTcontactform. Families can also try the helpline number: 1-833-452-0096. We'll follow up soon with more info.
